Julio Moreno Livestock - Bucking Bulls - Home of PBR Superstar - Troubadour - Endorsements
Julio's breeding program started in 1988 with 50 crossbred heifers he got through Cotton Rosser owner of Flying U Rodeo. From there, he started crossing different bulls onto each cow. His very first herdsire was a bull by the name of Copenhagen Smiley. Copenhagen Smiley was a National Finals bull qualifier several times throughout his career. His calf crop was then crossed with Whitewater, which is a son of Oscar Velvet. Whitewater has become the top producing sire within the bucking bull industry.

The legendary Whitewater was a 7-time National Finals Rodeo and 5-time PBR Finals bull. He was retired at the PBR in Bakersfield, Ca in 2002 with Ty Murray being his last mount ever. Next came a bull by the name of Typhoon which was a 5-time National Finals Rodeo bull that Julio began breeding cows to. He then crossed Whitewater calves with Typhoon calves to complete his Moreno bred stock.

The last four years, Julio has been breeding Reindeer and Werewolf (who we sadly lost in 2008). Reindeer is the most electric and unpredictable bull that has ever been hauled to professional events. Today, Julio is now breeding to Troubadour who is a Typhoon x Whitewater son, 513 Class 6 Kat who is a Whitewater x Skat Kat son, 007 Mr. Bond who is out of a Dr. J daughter and Houdini, and some of his up and coming Reindeer sons.

All of Julio's cows are daughters and granddaughters of:

Whitewater, Typhoon, Reindeer, Werewolf, Katie Did, Diamond Ghost, Red Rocker, Speck, Sky King, Panhandle Slim, Houdini, Blue Stem, Rampage, Freckles, White Sports Coat, Wrangler Rivets, Baby Brother, Durango, and Sports Machine.
